DESCRIPTION
This course presents students with the basic concepts and commands required to configure Cisco routers in TCP/IP internetworks.
Through lectures, discussions, exercises, and lab projects, students gain hands-on experience configuring fully operational Cisco routers.
Students learn the issues and demands of routing in heterogeneous environments.
During classroom and lab experiences, students build internetworks with multiple networking and routing protocols and diverse media.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Network administrators and technicians who configure and support multiprotocol internetworks.

PREREQUISITES:
Basic networking vocabulary and concepts.
Understanding TCP/IP
Local-area network administrative and technical experiences are pluspoints.

OUTLINES

Goals: Review basic networking, do a full TCP/IP review, including what is necessary to really understand routing, and then finish up with working on a Cisco router, using the Show command to see various things about the router.
