DESCRIPTION
This course provides an introduction to the Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) by introducing tags and thier uses to create web pages which include formatted text, images, hyperlinks, image maps, tables, frames and forms.
An introduction to the Common Gateway Interface (CGI)using Perl scripts is presented to demonstrate how to create the server-side scripts to process web forms.
This class is very hands-on oriented, resulting in students developing a significant webpage.

ASSUMED KNOWLEDGE
Experience navigating the World Wide Web using any Web browser and some familiarity with any high-level programming language.
